What Goes Into Packing Your Orders (Behind the Scenes at August Nine Home)

When you place an order with August Nine Home, it’s not just about sending you a product, it’s about creating a little moment of joy when you open your package. I thought it would be fun to give you a behind-the-scenes look at what actually goes into packing up your orders, from my studio to your doorstep. πŸ’Œ

Step 1: Printing & Prepping

Each item is created by me in my home studio. Whether it’s coasters, stickers, or backpack tags, I make sure every product is printed with vibrant colors and pressed with care. Before packing, I do a quick quality check to make sure everything looks perfect.

Step 2: Adding Personal Touches

I want your order to feel special, so I add little touches along the way. Things like chipboard backing for stickers, and sometimes a handwritten thank-you note. These little extras make unboxing feel like a gift, even if you bought it for yourself. 🎁

Step 3: Cute & Protective Packaging

Your order gets wrapped in packaging that’s both functional and fun. I use mailers and padding that protect your items, but I also make sure it looks cute and on-brand. No one likes receiving a sad package, so I make sure yours arrives looking happy and ready to enjoy!

Step 4: Shipping With Love

Once it’s all packed up, I print the shipping label, give it one last check, and drop it off to head your way. I always imagine the smile on your face when you open it. That’s the best part of running my small business. πŸ’•

Why It Matters

When you support a handmade shop like mine, you’re not just buying a product, you’re supporting all the little details that go into it. From the design, to the printing, to the packaging, every step is done with love and care. Thank you for being here and letting me share this journey with you. 🌼

πŸ“¦ Have You Ordered Yet?

If you haven’t tried out an August Nine Home product yet, now’s the perfect time! From car coasters to stickers to luggage tags, there’s a little something for everyone.

xoxo,

Jennifer
